Operation UNITE : Unlawful Narcotics Investigation Treatment and Education
School Liaisons
The best and most feasible way to put an end to a drug problem is to begin at the source - with drug prevention. Providing students, parents and teachers with the proper training to recognize and deal with substance abuse is much easier than dealing with addiction problems later in life.
Operation UNITE provides funding for a school liaison through contract with the Southeast/SouthCentral Educational Cooperative (SESC). School districts do not have to be a member of this cooperative in order to receive services from UNITE’s liaison.
