The UNITE Speakers Bureau is a database of individuals who have agreed to speak at coalition meetings and events. Each listing contains a brief description about their areas of expertise.
As Operation UNITE initiatives blossom throughout southern and eastern Kentucky, so have the efforts of local coalitions. As committees are formed and new anti-drug projects initiated, there is an on-going need to provide education and training at monthly meetings and special events. The expertise of many individuals goes untapped because others don’t know they exist as a resource. The Speaker’s Bureau helps match coalitions with these individuals.
Coalitions searching for speakers on specific topics should contact their UNITE Coalition Coordinator and request assistance. The coordinators will help identify potential speakers, make contact with individuals in the Speakers Bureau, and put them in touch with event organizers.
