2007 Activities
Monday, October 30 - Approximately 1,000 adults and children attended the second "Back Street Halloween Bash" featuring the theme "Say Boo To Drugs." Assistance was provided by the sheriff's office, fire and ambulance services, as well as city and county governments. Age-appropriate prevention materials and T-shirts with a prevention message were distributed. Last year the event drew approximately 800 people. To view pictures click here.
Saturday, July 29 - Free Shoot Hoops Not Drugs regional basketball camp with Jeff Sheppard at Morehead State University. Camp was attended by 114 participants from 10 Kentucky counties plus one from Ohio. To view photos click here.
Tuesday, April 25 – UNITE coalition networking reception at the Old Government Building in West Liberty for the Gateway coalitions. One of five regional receptions.
Thursday, April 20 – An Empowered Community Exchange presentation featuring Congressman Hal Rogers Morehead Conference Center in conjunction with the New Cities Initiative. To view pictures click here.
