Description:

Completion of this Insight Group meeting, "Discovering the Path of Christian Character," will enable you to help others in other group settings.

Group size is limited and will be closed after the first group meeting.

The Insight Group pictures life-controlling problems as a downward spiral pulling a person down. In a non-juidgmental way, the Insight Group then presents the character qualities found in 2 Peter 1:3-11 as a path to Christian character -- a series of building blocks to overcome life-controlling problems. Acceptance and love are used to support each other in finding release and hope.

Group facilitators are Dr. Richard and Mrs. Stella Held. Dr. Held is a retired United Methodist pastor, serving Burnside UMC part-time, and is chairman of the Pulaski County UNITE Coalition. His wife is a loving homemaker who loves people and wants to help them find true freedom, true release from life-controlling issues.
