Event: Prayer Can Build A Bridge Vigil
Date: Sunday, October 29, 2006
Time: 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Location: Morehead State University Center in West Liberty (Morgan County)
Cost: Just a prayer

Description:

More than 100 adults and youth attended the the community prayer vigil, held in the auditorium of the MSU Center at West Liberty.

Emily Dillon from Prestonsburg sang "Love Can Build A Bridge" and Darrell and Bobbi Jo Vancleave sang "Where Are The Children?"

Speakers included Pastor Jim Tharp, Pastor Mitchell Hoskins, Morgan County Judge-Executive Tim Conley, Keith Holbrook of the Morgan County Public Schools, and coalition Chair Sharon Tharp. They discussed the importance of God and the church in the battle against drug addiction.

A skit was performed by the youth group, The Grace In Motion Puppeteers, and its director Tami Adkins. There were several inspirational testimonies and prayer.
