Event: Cruising Not Using
Date: Friday, November 3, 2006
Time: Event begins at 4:30 p.m.
Location: Motorists will line up at the flea market on Highway 11 just before crossing the bridge at Booneville.
Cost: Free
Sponsor: Lee/Owsley Adult Drug Court
Description:

Rally participants will drive around the courthouse circle at Booneville (Owsley County) then drive to Beattyville (Lee County) on Highway 11 and pass the courthouse on Main Street.

This cruise is designed to show public support for the war against drugs. All citizens are urged to participate and to decorate their vehicles with anti-drug signs and banners.

Leading the drive will be the Hon. Judge William Trude. Others in the line-up will include Owsley County Sheriff Kelly Shouse, Lee County Sheriff Harvey Pelfrey, Beattyville Police Chief Steve Mays and Booneville Police Chief Johnny Logsdon.
