Space is limited to the first 150 people. Pre-registration deadline extended to Thursday, July 26, 2007.
As part of its education initiative to provide positive and fun alternatives to youth, UNITE is holding its first Camp UNITE in Pike County. This three-day, two-night camp is an action-packed outdoor camping adventure that will include a scavenger hunt/hike, fishing, team-building competition, swimming and pedal boats, campfires, athletic competitions, obstacle course, climbing wall and youth concert.
All children who have completed grades 4-7 and reside in Pike County are eligible to attend.
A list of what to bring to camp is available with the camp application packet. UNITE will be providing tents, sleeping bags, a pillow, towels, toiletries, food, drinks, and an event T-shirt.
Those needing a ride to camp will be picked up at 2 p.m. Sunday from locations in Lick Creek, Regina, Mouthcard, Elkhorn City, Ashcamp and Phelps. Those bringing children to camp should arrive by 3 p.m. at the park Visitor's Center. |
