Event: Grants 101 - Application Readiness and Writing the Grant Proposal

Description:

A free basic grant writing workshop will be offered to provide training in identifying funding, preparing and writing grant proposals.

The training is designed to assist the beginning grant writer for non-profit, small business, grassroots, community-based or faith-based organizations who have never written or have only written a few, small applications.

The instructor is William Stone, director of special projects for WestCare Foundation, Inc. He has 30 years of grant writing, resource and program development experience.

Helpful materials, articles and resources will be distributed at the training workshop for participants. Individual technical assistance via phone consultation following the workshop with the instructor will be available.
