Event: Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs (HOFNOD) Buddy Bass Fishing Tournament
Date: Saturday, April 21, 2007
Time: Fishing time 7 a.m. to Noon.
Location: Paintsville Lake at the park ramp located at 1581 KY Route 2275, Staffordsville
Cost: $15 per boat
Sponsor: Johnson County UNITE Coalition
Description:

Tournament Winners

1st - Scott Daniels and his son Kash from Johnson County.

2nd - Rodney and Brady Hamilton from Johnson County.

3rd - Randy McCarty and his son Austin from Johnson County.

Big Fish - Kash Daniels

There were 11 boats and 22 participants.

One person on the boat must be under the age of 18. The purpose of this event is to promote youth fishing and to serve as a mentoring program.

The last day to enter the tournament is noon on Tuesday, April 17. There is a 50-boat limit.

Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places as well as for the Big Bass. Boats that finish in the top three places will advance to the Regional UNITE Buddy Bass Tournament to be held June 2, 2007, on Yatesville Lake. NOTE: Regional tournament has been canceled.

SouthEast Telephone will cook hot dogs for all participants.
