    Operation UNITE will hold a community meeting for citizens concerned about the drug problem at 6 p.m. at Faith First Baptist Church on Jimmie's Creek at Regina. Officials will be on hand to discuss the law enforcement, education and treatment components of UNITE and to listen to citizen concerns. Pastors Doug Abner and Ken Bowling from the Clay County coalition will also be present.

    A Mini Apple Run will be held in Johnson County. Rain or shine this event begins at 9 a.m. on Second Street and will go one mile through Main Street.
